Station carpark

Very early days on this area...

The paper mock-up of an advertising hoarding is of a style based on a picture taken at Ipswich by Dick Riley in the Ian Allan book 'Eastern Steam in Colour' by Hugh Ballantyne (published by Jane's). If you have any style and dimensional details of typical hoardings that were present in the mid '60s, please let us know. We are also keen to track down typical adverts of the times that would be portrayed on such hoardings. The precise time that Green Street is intended to portray is the middle of 1965.

The brick edging is being cut out individually from Slaters brick sheet.
