Platform details
The platform sections are fixed from underneath the baseboard surface with 5mm nylon bolts - holes for these can be seen on the nearer board. The platform is constructed entirely of plasticard, and is faced with Slaters English bond sheet, after an initial unsuccessful attempt with Howard Scenic's card sheet.
Incidentally all the platforms were built by Russ Elliott with his much beloved plasticard. This also includes all the fencing and walls.
